I got tired of spending more time preparing my local files for AI than actually using AI so I built a tool to solve it.
Solving the file limit issue is a massive pain point.
Since you're dealing with user data or files how are you building that instant safety trust through your identity to win over cautious enterprise users?
Really appreciate this question.
The short answer: FileForge Go is fully offline. Your files are processed locally and never transmitted anywhere. We didn't build it that way as a marketing angle, it's the actual architecture, and skeptical users are welcome to verify it with a network monitor during a session.
For enterprise trust-building, we're actively working on a few fronts: SOC 2 audit is on our roadmap for the next few months, and we're open to supporting security reviews and custom DPAs for larger teams.
Would love to hear from anyone who's navigated enterprise security reviews as an indie. What documentation or signals moved the needle most for your buyers?
Really appreciate the transparency on the offline architecture. From what I’ve seen for cautious enterprise buyers the biggest trust signals early on are the domain or brand name that instantly feels safe and professional not generic or experimental. Even before SOC 2, the name itself does a lot of heavy lifting. If the branding looks legit, they’re much more open to the audits and reviews later. From my curious have you already settled on the name FileForge Go or still exploring options?
@IbrahimHossain_ we have settled into FileForge Go for this initial product. However, we are open to taking the product wherever it needs to be successful. What are your thoughts on the name?
Glad you're focused on success. FileForge Go sounds functional but for enterprise users it feels a bit generic and tool like. When you’re dealing with sensitive files and security conscious buyers, a name that instantly signals safe & professional usually carries more weight. your tech is Enterprise grade but you need an identity that screams security and trust before they even click.
Thank you for the feedback!
