Tired of paying multiple $20/mo subscriptions, we built a pay-per-use AI aggregator (Next.js + Supabase)

Hi everyone!

Like many of you here, our team was spending a small fortune every month on multiple AI subscriptions (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) just to access different premium models for coding and research.

To solve this, we decided to scratch our own itch and built Xata AI.

It’s a unified dashboard where you can access top-tier models (including Claude and GPT) under a strict pay-per-use model. No monthly retainers, no fixed costs—you only pay for the exact tokens your requests consume.

Our Tech Stack:

• Frontend: Next.js + Tailwind CSS

• Backend/Database: Supabase

• Custom proxy middleware to handle concurrency and keep latency as low as possible.

We just opened the beta and wanted to share it with the IH community to get your honest feedback. What features should we prioritize next? How can we make the dashboard even better for indie developers?
