tl;dr - here's an idea to validate

I know all too well --

ideas are worthless without a proper execution and plan

So, today i'll share an idea that has been lingering in my mind for a while now and I want what a community thinks about this.

The idea is to create a service called tl;dr and --- yes it is what you think it is.

A service/portal where you can search for tldrs for topics/articles you love. If you are anything like me, you don't have patience to read the entire article before knowing a gist of it and then read it if you are interested or search for a topic just enough to know what it is and then explore further if this is what you want.

lets, say you would like to know know about the new Amazon Honeycode but just enough to know if you can use it or try it.

The official blog entry says --

Introducing Amazon Honeycode – Build Web & Mobile Apps Without Writing Code

The title introduces something about what it is but -- not whole a lot. One can easily summarize the article as --

• It is full-managed service that will let you build web and mobile apps without coding using Spreadsheet type model
• Has various templates to get quick started, with the so-called "Builder"
• It has familiar spreadsheet type interface with rows, columns and "functions" that can be applied to it
• UI can be built with a drag and drop like interface
• Apps can be shared across honeycomb users
• Offers APIs for external services
• It is still beta!

But it is a whole lot of information, lets try to tldr-ify it:

Amazon Honeycode is a full-managed service that enables users to create, deploy and manage web and mobile apps without writing any code at all. Apps can be developed on familiar looking Spreadsheet using their builder interface. As of late June, 2020 this service is still in beta.

that's 45 word; takes an average of 14 seconds to read. That's it I think this is sufficient enough whether to further read the article or just to know what it is for the curious.
