To all bloggers: How would you improve the landing page of 'Write ✍️ or Die ☠️'?
Write ✍️ or Die ☠️ is a commitment device for bloggers. You set a deadline for your next post and a price, and you have to publish it by the deadline or you'll pay.
The design and copy are minimalistic and hopefully self-explanatory. Is it clear enough for you? Is there anything you would improve?
Scary good idea, but I think you should make it clear on the homepage that you can't pledge huge amounts of money, maybe something like two dollars? Also like where the money goes to if you "die"

Do you maybe mean small amounts instead of huge? Now the minimum is $10 (maybe $25 when you checked it, I changed it recently) and the maximum is $500. Do you feel like the minimum should be lower?
The issue is that there's always a real person checking the proof, and if I got too many low-price commitments it wouldn't be viable: too much time checking and each person failing would be very little revenue.
The money goes to the business, that's the business model. Still, I'm considering giving 20% to charity to make it more attractive to new users (and as a founder, it feels good :) ).
