Today is the day I'm feeling down. With the work you put in and the great marketing ideas you come up with, nothing gives you the appropriate return. There are some days when you see nothing ahead but a dead end. Today is that day for me.
How do you cope in those days?
Mate honestly, I just keep powering on believing that something great is just around the corner! Not sure what else to tell you. A bunch of this is grit, perseverance, and good fortune. Do things you like, take a step back, and then back at it. Even if you have to walk away know that you've given it your best.
Your advice removed the guilt I was having about not being able to work today. I'll follow your advice and do something other than work.

As I've learned the hard way, there's nothing wrong with taking a day off and going for a hike, a swim, play games or whatever else can tune you off and you'll probably end up having a much better day tomorrow and actually be more productive!
I find just focusing on your craft and not worrying about the big picture all the time helps. I feel better every time I build, tweak, ship something. Those skills compound and pay off over time either in your current venture or open up new opportunities down the track.
