Today's the first day of working full-time on our product again

Yesterday was the last day of our freelancing contract and today we start working full-time on our own product again - the excitement is real!

In April 2021 I started my own company together with my friend Anki. We decided that we want to switch between freelance work and working on our own products until they are profitable enough to work solely on them.

We usually take longer freelancing contracts, around 6 months, which gives us the financial freedom to do some months of full-time work on our own products, to really push them forward.

And now we're heading into the next period of working on our product snappify - we have many ideas and our motivation is through the roof 🚀

How do you manage your time when working on your own products?

I don't have agency yet, because I work as software developer in one project. But I had an idea to run a business about technical support which can generate some income while I can do other projects.
In every advice about indie hacking that I saw said that better to start when you have a backup plan. So, agency looks as a really nice backup plan.

Freelancing + working on an own product can be a very great duo!

Agreed!! This is what I do personally, sometimes its stressful just remember your mental health is equally important for yourself, family and for your project, don't get burnt out and lose focus / traction.

I am connected to Dominik on Twitter and more people should try this model.

Having an agency + your own products will have an amazing impact in adding revenue as you get time.

    Good work Dominik!!
