Hi,
At 0Browser we keep getting a lot of new signups on a daily basis, how can we engage them and turn them into real paying customers? we do have a signup email campaign but that doesn't seem to be doing much as it is today ...
Hi,
You'd want to track where these signups are coming up. A lot of times people coming from SEO are more likely to turn into paid customers as compared to people who signed up from Social Media & vice versa.
I'd suggest you to find out where these people come from and how much engaged they are with your product i.e how much or if they actually use it.
If they use it, or if they don't ; send them more emails using an automation based tool. If they do use it, and you connect with them more often, they're more likely to turn into paid users, and if people don't use it, they might be more compelled to try your tool.
Work on preparing and deploying an email series
1 day after signup
3 days after signup
6 days after signup
( just an example )
Hope this works.
Hi, thanks for your answer, most of our users coming from Google and we know they are interested in our product at the beginning because they use it for a bit. Then usually our users drop off and never come back. I have tried to contact some of them but they don’t reply so stopped doing that. This is pretty much where we are at right now. Are there any good strategies we can use to get in touch/connect with them?
My first goal is to understand why they signed up for free tier in the first place and then why stoped using the service.
Integrated tawk.to and google analytics on your app, if there are specific pages, integrate live chat on those pages and maybe you'll have some people telling you why or where they are stuck.
Also, I'd suggest, email them for feedback and give them a free account for limited time or some free credits or however your tool works, i.e , they should have an incentive to reply to you.
Do not send just one email for feedback, Always followup.
I already have tawk.to integrated and google analytics. They are super useful. I couldn't find the feature in tawk.to to send direct messages to the user. It would have been good if I could do that!
Its a great suggestion, I will create a new strategy to send emails and follow up email.
Hey Raha, sounds like you're looking at a subscription model and retention, which is great. I would keep that retention focus and see if you can retain after a payment event!
Hey Lumiate, We are building a better tier based subscription flow but the work is still in progress. Please look at my reply to @rachitsingh , we are struggling with retention and we don’t know exactly why. Any suggestions?
Sounds like you need more information. Still try to talk to users - you can experiment with messaging, incentives ($10 amazon gift card for 10 minutes, etc), or even collecting useful information at an earlier time, perhaps at sign-up.
I like both of your ideas, i can ask for more information at sign-up. it could be an optional drop down. I can hopefully find out why exactly they are signing up. Giving away gift cards can also help with solving the other piece of the puzzle, for example why they stopped using the system. I love your app by the way :)
Hi!
Personally, I don't feel confortable with that pricing model (0.0001 per second). As I don't know how long will my requests take and maybe I can have a bug and call your api inside an infite loop and then have a huge bill.
Maybe you can try another approach and offer a "limited box", based on requests, not seconds. Something like:
Plan starter:
20 USD
1000 requests
Plan pro:
100 USD
10000 requests
etc
The service looks super exciting by the way. Congratulations!
Hi, @Luctus, interesting!
Thanks for your feedback.
websocket connections are stateful and can last for a long time (we are putting limit on how long you can keep the connection open for now). That is why we can’t charge per request.
we are planning to offer Restful API for common tasks in the future, for example, crawl, scrape, test, etc. then we can offer tiers based on number of requests.
I like your idea of selling a box for a price. maybe that is what we should be doing at this point.
Good to see that my answer made sense :)
Best of lucks and keep us updated!
