Too many online meetings?

Working remotely it’s easy to set up mass of meeting and invite great number of ppl, which we’ll probably not invite for meeting in the office, co-workers are often tired and not interested in such meetings, browsing internet and doing other thing during calls.

We want to reduce number of online meeting keeping only important ones.
Do you feel that part of your meetings are useless?

What if you can exchange them for async chat or in case of need meet with well prepared agenda?

Too many meetings are (at least to me) a sign of strategic misalignment and poor management.

You don't need many meetings to sync and align in a well-managed company. And if you are working remotely and not yet using async chat as a larger company, well, then I'd say you are in trouble anyway.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m happy to hear that there are places without this issue :)

In my case all meetings - by default - are synchronous which requires being online in given point of time, chat helps but still in my calendar are lot of events which in my opinion could be hold async

Then ask the meeting organizer why the meeting must be held. Ask for an agenda and why this can't be done async.

I understand what CoDaily is doing, and the value it can provide, but I think your messaging and marketing on the site is .... well, it feels a bit off (?). After 2+ years of pandemic I think your target group (Slack + Teams users) know of the benefits of async chat and less meetings. Maybe try a different messaging approach?

As I am considering a Slack + Teams integration for my product, do you have any tips or recommendations where to start developing? (we have a B2B SaaS)
