Hello everyone!
I've read some of the most insightful, helpful, and well thought-out comments here before on landing page design and content however i wanted to pose a simple question, answer however you see fit.
Is this too simple or too much? (or by some miracle, just right?)
Website: https://www.essense.io/
Feel free to shred it apart :o
Thank you in advance for any input.
The top bar with the "Get Started" button looks odd and reminds me of a search input box. If this is supposed to be a navigation menu, it should be 100% width.
Trying to read the OTF area with the video automatically playing is very difficult, and after I have read the texts, I have no idea what is going on with the video, as I missed the beginning. You should have the video with a button to let user start playing it when they want.
I think it's awkward how the "Get Started" button takes you to the login screen. I expected to be taken to the "create account" screen.
The "Analysis Superpowers" looks visually like a button. You should be more clear what is clickable element and what is not.
The website doesn't answer the most important question that I have: How much? I do see the "is there a free tier" in the FAQ section, but that's the only reference to pricing there is. This seems like you are trying to sell me a product but won't tell me the price.
After scrolling down, I see the top navigation bar thingie floating over the content. I see no reason to do this. If this would be a real navigation menu with some actual links, then maybe, but as it is now, there is no need to block some of the view with this bar.
