Tools to create an icon/logo ?
I have a fair idea of what I want my logo to look like - nothing fancy and something appropriate for this stage of the project.
Did I mention low budget? yeah.
I guess I'm looking for a tool to draw a few lines/boxes and get the logo in multiple resolutions.

Vectornator is totally free and pretty powerful :) Also, there are tons of logo-making services all over the web if you don't want to do the design yourself. There are even services in the products here on Indie Hackers. Just go to the products tab and then do a keyword search for logo :)

I'm using Affinity Designer, fits all my needs and has a fair one time price (unlike Adobe). Definitely worth the money considering the time I saved by having a proper graphics software.

I've used Inkscape for this kind of thing before. It's a bit of an old program now but it gets the job done for free.
