Here are the seven websites I use to help build my financial legacy and increase my overall brand footprint using The MichaelsonEffect.
In this article, I’ll give simple and logical reasons for why and how I use these websites to grow my brand’s footprint online. These won’t be your typical “top number” list, because I look at brand building differently than most writers who produce articles of this type.
When I look at product and content creation, I’m looking from the viewpoint of building legacy — both living and long-term (after I’m gone). This means I’m always producing content that works for me passively, or without my constant direct interaction.
Most of the articles I’ve researched on the topic of “top sites” are focused on what you can do to get fast results — which is fine — but this type of content usually sets unrealistic expectations that people only follow for a short period of time. When people don’t see results after reading “top [whatever] websites” articles, they usually quit — never reaching the goals or achievements they expected.
What I’m offering here is a short-to-long-term plan that will not only get you fast results, but also set you — the brand builder — up for creating future results from content you release on a regular basis. I’ll give you tips on how to build habits around your brand that, hopefully, no one else writing in this space has taught before.
I’ll also explain how and why I use each website on this list for brand building, and why not using AI to create your content will benefit your brand in the long run. These explanations will be short — it’s more important that you take action. The goal is to help you see income growth as soon as possible — ideally, within 20 minutes of reading this article.
Entrepreneurs today are so focused on making Big Money Fast that they forget: small financial growth turns into substantial gains later.
In addition, your slow growth helps you build character — something many people have lost. You can never build strong, stable, moral character on fast money. Fast money is for fools. That’s why here, we focus on legacy-building financial growth.
Think about all the so-called influencers who’ve made their money too quickly — they’re almost always deplorable sellouts with very low moral values. Many are unhappy about the low-quality content or products they endorse, but continue to operate in ways that are not dutiful to a positive society. Most of these types of people are also narcissists who likely, deep down, hate themselves.
Each of the websites listed here are useful for building your brand for different reasons, but all of them are ones I use to pay me in the process of building my separate brand's awareness.
✅ 1. Tangled Social - is a crypto earning website that I've joined and write about often. Why?
I consider this site one of the best for building future money, as it’s built on the back of a solid digital currency project that reminds me of Bitcoin when it first started. Tangled Social operates on its own currency called Millix (mlx), and Millix is a ground-up project. If you know a little about crypto, you know that most cryptocurrency projects are built on the back of an existing platform like Bitcoin, Ethereum, or others. Millix is the structure—like the Bitcoin blockchain—but completely different.
Okay, if that seemed a bit technical (which by crypto education standards is basic), don’t let it bother you—you can even ignore it. You don’t need to know any of the above information to start creating legacy money on tangled.com. It’s easy and fast! Please do not sleep on this platform. It’s growing fast!
Within a few minutes of setting up your account, you’ll have already earned your first Millix payment. Say hello, post a picture, comment on a feed post, repost a piece of your content from another website—whatever you want.
Don’t make the mistake a lot of people make when exploring a new social media site. People, simply because they’re used to their old social platforms, don’t spend enough time learning the new one. People hate change, but often it’s change that allows you to grow the most.
If you want to grow your money through means not previously known, you must give the new way ample time and energy. With Tangled Social, don’t stop your initial interaction with the platform until you receive that first payment notification. That notification sound is what you want to get used to—it should motivate you to increase your Millix. You're already used to hearing notification bells for content that doesn’t pay you, so why not love the sound that actually makes you money? Right?
✅ 2. Publish0x
I’ve been on this website for years. While the crypto payments are small—even tiny in comparison to Tangled Social—the content that works for me here is worth every minute spent posting.
I produce articles weekly, and one of the first websites I post them on is Publish0x. My focus here isn’t to make a ton of money, but instead to get on the home page and have a platform that allows me to direct new, potential regular readers to my legacy products—without having to build, maintain, or monitor my own website. It’s awesome, and it works!
I use Publish0x analytics to track my articles’ performance and make edits or updates to keep them relevant.
I also use Publish0x to reboost/promote older articles that include ads for my legacy products with backlinks. Lately, I’ve been reboosting both new and older articles with other entrepreneurs’ branded content. I boost/promote other entrepreneurs’ content and products free of charge—on articles that haven’t yet gone viral or reached 1,000 views. Members can choose to tip Millix (mlx) if they’d like, but it’s not required.
This is part of one of my new brands called Boost Me Club, which is used to promote club members’ brands—hosted on the Tangled Social platform.
To get your product(s) or brand(s) promoted in one of my articles, you only need to do a few things:
Follow: g/boostmeclub
Follow: @michaelsoneffect
Follow other BMC members (they’ll follow you back)
Visit the reboosted article to give a like, share, or tip to help it gain greater visibility
It’s that easy!
Once my articles surpass the 1,000-view threshold, they become eligible for BMC members to place bids on the advertising space. You can learn more about the bidding process when you join Boost Me Club on Tangled.com. For now, joining the club gets your brand on the list for free promotion.
This is no-brainer advertising for wise entrepreneurs. It’s like hiring a team of marketers—without having to pay them (at least not directly). Everyone wins through the collective energy and action that members put into interacting with boosted and reboosted content—my articles.
All of my articles and branded content are geared toward helping other entrepreneurs successfully get more eyes on their brands—and it all starts on Publish0x and Tangled Social.
✅ 3. read.cash — This platform has seen five years of ups and downs. When I first joined, it was booming, but since then it has fallen off quite a bit. That said, there are positive signs that Read.cash is making a comeback—and when it comes to earning crypto, specifically ETH (Ethereum), I still recommend it.
Ethereum has always been number two behind Bitcoin, so when there’s an opportunity to earn ETH with little effort, I think it’s just smart thinking. I continue to post articles here because it helps expand my brand footprint, both for myself and for others I promote through my content.
I have no doubt that as Read.cash regains momentum, the visibility of my articles on the platform will grow too. It’s about keeping an eye on the future and making moves that make long-term sense.
No matter the ups and downs in the crypto market, your legacy brand-building efforts should remain the same: focused. When you think about building legacy brands—products, ideas, projects, etc.—money is one of the focuses, but it shouldn’t be the only primary focus.
Building something that lasts should be the core of your legacy creation process. Let the money roll in after the structure is set and people start to adopt and guide your work. Generating extra income by posting content that earns crypto is simply a bonus.
Why? Because while you’re creating content to get more eyes on your brand, those small crypto gains can help keep you—the brand builder—motivated. Even minor increases in value can help push you through the mental slumps that often hit entrepreneurs at all levels. Growth takes time, and self motivation and consistency is key.
✅ 4. Threads — I like this app, but I also dislike that I use it... because, well, the app Zucks—literally. 😁
Let’s be honest: Facebook and Threads are basically spy tools for the likely CIA-controlled Mark Zuckerberg—same goes for Google. If this is your first time hearing that, just know I’ve written more than a few well-researched books and articles on how social media is used to shape narratives... and even reality itself.
I have a decent following on Threads (over 7k), so for now, I still use the platform—but honestly, I think about deleting it almost daily. In the past, I’ve deleted social media accounts with over 30k followers because I understand how these tracking systems are being set up for future control over the public.
That being said, I use Threads strategically—to respectfully piggyback my content onto larger accounts with strong engagement.
Here’s the key: The accounts you post to must have real engagement. Avoid fake or bot-heavy accounts. You can tell they’re fake when they have thousands (or even hundreds of thousands) of followers but no real comments or interactions.
Don’t waste time posting to fakes, and don’t spam real accounts either—that could come off as disrespectful.
My approach? I add relevant comments, like the post, and repost it—that way I’m promoting my brand while also boosting the original post to my own audience. It creates a win-win. You give value while subtly inserting your brand into the conversation.
Building your brand should include the people you've helped build themselves. — The MichaelsonEffect
✅ 5. Substack + Email List — I launched a new Substack specifically to help build my Legacy Brands. It’s still new, but I already see its power as a long-term tool.
Substack has gone through a transformation—its updated design and features now make it feel more like a social media platform, which I think was a smart move. Before the redesign, I had an account with a list of over 3,000 subscribers, but after the update, the formatting on the older account looked terrible. That’s why I created a fresh start with a brand-new Substack. It hasn’t been long, but so far, I’m really liking the look, feel, and functionality of the new platform.
I’ll be using my new Substack to re-engage my email list and transition my old audience to this new platform—with a sharper focus on building legacy products.
Yes, I’ll undoubtedly lose some subscribers, but this has never bothered me—and it shouldn’t bother you either. Focus only on the people who stick around and on the new subscribers you attract. These are the people who will eventually become your paid members and ultimately your legacy product customers.
Since Substack updated its platform, posting is now easier than ever. You can publish articles, podcasts, videos, images, and a new “Notes” feature (basically a social media-style post).
In my opinion, Substack is all about consistency. Nothing will happen at first. But if you keep posting, eventually, momentum kicks in. That’s why I say:
Be consistent with your contributions,
Don’t make everything about sales,
Lead with value first.
✅ 6. Pickax
I recently joined Pickax, a free speech social media platform that's still in its early stages—but I think it has big potential.
They're even exploring crypto payments as part of the rewards system, which is why I decided to give it an early look. The goal seems to be to rival X (formerly Twitter) by giving users more freedom of expression.
Now, let’s be honest: No one truly has complete free speech—what we really have is limited speech. But I still support any effort to increase openness, and that’s why I post on Pickax. As of now, there's no direct monetization on the platform, but getting in early can lead to serious long-term benefits. When you’re building legacy, sometimes you have to move like you’ve got a crystal ball guiding you.
For whatever reason, I really like the look and vibe of Pickax. It feels grounded. The creator of the platform seems cool and down-to-earth—not robotic like the “alien” energy some other platform CEOs give off.
You know exactly what I’m talking about...

✅ 7. X (formerly Twitter) is a good place to post legacy content, but it has some major drawbacks in my opinion. One is that the algorithms are always working against a positive mindset, and the content because of trying to give people freedom is mostly negative.
That said, I still use X—for strategic brand building.
I run multiple accounts as part of my legacy strategy, using one to boost the others. This cross-promotion expands my reach. Since starting this method, my follower count and engagement have grown steadily. I did take a long break from social media, which meant starting over from the ground floor, but now I’m back—posting consistently, using an auto-scheduler, and reboosting older articles and posts. These actions have dramatically shortened the time it normally takes to grow on X.
If you stay focused, post consistently, and give value, you’ll get the results you’re looking for—whether it's audience growth, project recognition, product awareness, or building your legacy.
As a bonus, you’ll also be setting yourself up with a passive crypto income stream, creating a self-sustaining financial portfolio. That’s the method I use—and the mindset I recommend for you too.
Keep coming back to my content to see how I promote my own brands and other entrepreneurs like you. You’ll see what works, what doesn’t, and how things evolve to deliver real ROI.
Okay, before we end here let's discuss - shortly - about why using AI to write for you isn't a good idea.
People are lazy, many times always looking for the easy way out - the path of least resistance - which isn't good when using AI tools, not just for writing but for anything. The people telling you to use AI for virtually everything you do are simply people who do not have legacy in mind. These types of people couldn't care less about what kind of content they put out, they just want content to put out, trying to make "Fast Money".
This is good for the people who understand what building a legacy is about. This is an absolute fact - because I've had conversations with AI about it - the human being will lose his humanity the more they use AI - (Me vs. AIQuinn Consciousness Conversations Podcast). The people who program AI have a certain mindset - way of thinking - and that way doesn't match everyone but AI tools are pulling everyone into the same think space. Meaning the more you use AI tools to create content the more you'll sound like everyone else. You will have no true voice.
AI writing tools are also tone police, so each and every time you use it AI softly moves your message into a space where AI judges whether it is or isn't ok for public consumption. If you've challenged AI at all with your writing you've seen the Red message of death telling you "Your request was flagged as potentially violating our usage policy. Please try again with a different prompt.". This policy should just be relabeled as "policing". I never noticed until know how similar the two words look. Did I just stumble upon a word mind trick that tells us that "every company policy is simply a means to police the public?". Maybe...It wouldn't be the first time.
The moral of the story is if you maintain your unique writing style and voice eventually you'll be the person who sticks out, and people will be looking to your authentic content more as AI created content grows. This is why when I create a digital image product like the ones you see in this article I don't use AI. I build digital images by hand so they carry me along with them wherever they end up.
I hope you enjoyed this article, but more importantly put what you've learnt to work ASAP, and earn some crypto today. Then head over to Boost Me Club on tangled.com join the club and let's get you on the list to have your brand embedded into boosted articles and other content.
