Tracking Decisions with Pro/Con list
Why don't more people or businesses track their decisions and decision making process?
I see a bunch of posts and tools focused around tracking:
-Habits
-Productivity
-Goals
-Progress
-Tasks
Why not decisions?
Are we making the same mistakes over and over? Why did we make this decision in the past? Are we seeing the desired results from the past decision?
I believe you can learn a lot by tracking your decisions and the process.

It's difficult to track decisions because sometimes they are irreversible. Rather than taking the same dataset of historical decisions to make a new decision, people would want a procedure that would help them revert back on their original decision. Which I think is difficult most of the time.
A product would be useful if it provides a mechanism to put in place some guidelines where they can have some savepoints to which they can move back to if the decision goes wrong.
Out of curiosity, would your product understand the process of business that leads to a decision and help the customer revert back to some point in time if the decision goes wrong?
It's more or less like GitHub on decisions. I hope I made sense. That would be one tool I might want to use a lot.
I might want to help many of my customers through such tools.

We are working on have a section that stores all of your past decisions with the Pro/Con list used to make the decision and any comments or notes associated. This helps the team understand why they came to the decision they did months and years later.
Before I say what I meant by saying "reverting back to some point in time". Let me introduce you myself by saying that I and my teamwork on a similar platform like yours but have a niche for founders. So, what I mean to say is,
When we make a decision and try to achieve something, the decision can either be wrong or right. Your platform stores all past decisions. I want to know if your platform helps the user in any way to understand what decision in the past has to lead them to the result in the present and if they can get a step by step insight or guidance on how they can correct it.

In our MVP product, we will not have a step by step insight or guidance in how they can correct it. Right now, all they will be able to do is go to their past decisions (that have reminders set to view it how often they want) and see how/why they came to the decision by looking at the past notes and then measure any metrics or goals they had for it.
