Trademark in foreign jurisdictions

I recently had my company name trademarked in the US. My IP attorney is asking me if I'd like to also do a foreign jurisdiction (country) trademark as well. Initially he would file a WIPO Registration (World Intellectual Property Organization), then handle other countries on a case-by-case basis. It seems kind of pricey and I don't really foresee my business (mobile app) expanding beyond the US although I do have a few users/customers in other countries right now. Does anyone have experience with this? Thanks.
