Travel without the chaos — meet your new AI co-pilot

Hey friends 👋

I’ve been pulling late nights lately on SkyNeu, my little side project that’s slowly turning into something much bigger than I imagined.

What started as a scrappy idea (“what if booking travel didn’t feel like running a maze blindfolded?”) is now… well, an AI co-pilot for travel that’s starting to feel like a co-pilot.

Here’s what it’s doing right now:

🛫 Smarter flight search & pricing – not just showing you options, but surfacing ideal flights at the right price without endless tab-hopping.

🗺️ AI-powered trip planner – beyond basic itineraries, it maps out your journey end-to-end, tuned to your style of travel.

Real-time travel intelligence – live flight tracking, disruption alerts, and those hidden-fee warnings before they ruin your plans.

🌍 Aviation hub & visa assistance – helping you navigate entry requirements and paperwork so you can focus on the trip, not the stress.

And more to come – we’re layering in features step by step, turning SkyNeu into a true travel co-pilot that gets smarter with you.

That’s when it hit me: maybe travel doesn’t need another booking site. Maybe it needs a co-pilot.

💭 So here’s what I’d love to know from you:

  • If you had an AI co-pilot in your pocket, what’s the one thing it could do that would feel truly magical?

  • And just for fun — if it saved you time, money, and stress, what would a “no-brainer” price look like?

🚀 We’re gearing up for launch (originally August, now nudged to late September so we get it right). If you’re curious, or just want to poke around early, the waitlist is here: https://skyneu.com

Thanks for cheering this on — building in public can feel messy, but hearing from you all makes it so much more exciting.

Let’s make travel feel human again ✈️

Love the concept of SkyNeu! The "travel co-pilot" positioning really resonates - reminds me of how we positioned our loyalty card app as a "digital wallet companion" rather than just another app.

From building an app to 55k+ downloads, here's what I've learned about travel-adjacent features that users actually want:

The Magic Factor: Real-time intelligence is huge. For your co-pilot, the game-changer would be proactive problem-solving - like "Your 2pm meeting in NYC is running late, I've already found 3 alternative flights and checked them against your hotel cancellation policy."

Pricing Psychology: For travel tools, I've found users are willing to pay premium IF you save them both time AND money. A "no-brainer" price might be subscription-based: $9.99/month for frequent travelers, but with a "pay per trip" option ($4.99/trip) for occasional users. The key is showing ROI - "This saved you $347 on your last 3 trips."

Integration Opportunities: Have you considered partnerships with loyalty card/rewards apps? Travel + rewards is a natural fit, and cross-promotion could be powerful.

User Retention: The visa assistance feature is brilliant - that's the kind of stress-point solution that creates loyal users. In our app, the features that solved genuine pain points (like "find my card when I'm at checkout") drove the highest engagement.

Excited to see the late September launch! The travel industry definitely needs more human-centric solutions. Building a co-pilot rather than just another booking platform is the right approach.

Thanks so much for sharing these insights! 🙌 I especially love your point on real-time intelligence—that’s exactly the “magic” I want SkyNeu to deliver. The per-trip pricing option is super smart, and I’ll definitely explore loyalty/rewards integrations too. Visa help + stress-point solutions driving retention really resonates. Appreciate the encouragement—would love to swap notes on your 55k+ download journey sometime!

Really love the idea of SkyNeu — especially how it takes the stress out of planning. One thing that would feel magical is if it could link flights directly with reliable ground transport. Services like purplediamondcars. com make that part of travel so much easier, and having it built into an AI co-pilot would be a game-changer.

This is beautiful. I hope Nigerian flights are also considered, and I'm talking local Nigerian flights within the cities in the country?

Good one! A very efficient and thoughtful approach to flights and flying n
