This doesn't surprise me at all. Companies are putting more and more pressure and restrictions on employees and it's only a matter of time before the employer/employee relationship breaks down completely.

Those are right. In the corporate world there is many things which is going this way and people consider this ok which make this difficult for other employees.

If employees end up with all the crap that contractors have to deal with then employees will eventually leave and just become contractors because there then remains no point in being an employee, right?

hot take: at startups we have to see our "employees" or "contractors" as partners. Our best employess/contractors are the ones who buy into the mission. And yes, they should be skilled as well. But their skillset is what will make them a churned employee, while their partnership will bring foundership/leadership in building until the end.

Question is, how do you identify potential partners? Partners are individuals who are already working towards your mission before they are working for/with you. And you can use Githired to find them. Githired connects you to tech talent based on relevant projects on Github, (AND you can easily vet their basic skills from their previous projects).
