I've noticed a lot of newsletter landing pages tend to be really clean and free of distractions (Morning Brew is an extreme example where there are literally no links - you either subscribe or you don't).
My landing page is not quite as clean as Morning Brew's, but I tried to make it as minimalistic as possible and only show you the information that's absolutely needed. What do you think? https://makerlist.cc/
Hi Richard, I like it! I would include a link with an example of a past issue so that people can have a look at it before subscribing.
I also launched my newsletter recently and tried to keep it as clean as possible too 😉
Thanks Andrea! I have a link to the archive on the FAQ page but I might make it more visible by bringing it into the navbar.
I'm already subscribed to your newsletter, it looks awesome :)
Oh wow! I've just subscribed to yours 😀
Looks nice and subscribed!
If it's possible I would move the cookie pop-up downwards. On my phone it popped up right in the middle of the screen covering the form.
Thank you and thanks for subscribing!
Can you describe a little more about what the cookie popup said? I've never seen that before - could it be a Substack thing?
Ay,
Here is the cookie popup : https://nimb.ws/8B3c4E
And it displays on the form too (Laptop).
Interesting! Seems likely it's a Substack thing, probably for EU residents.
Thank you for letting me know!
