True trend or marketing mirage? Are coaching bizs on the 📈 or 📉

Are online coaching businesses truly a growing trend? The suggestion from many newsletters, podcasts, forums (and the like) suggest...
- an increase in the number of coaches, trainers, teachers, tutors, and other expert professionals
- more coaches (note: I am using "coaches" as the catch all term for all expert professionals) and coaching businesses making more money in their businesses, presumably by leveraging tech & and moving online etc.
Question is - does anyone have any evidence of a growing trend in this space? If not, how might you go about validating such a trend?
I think it depends a bit on the niche, but in the context of demand and supply, you could check out ubersuggest or google trends. This could tell you how many people are searching for different topics.
I did try google trends, nothing interesting gathered from that (I think the terms are just too broad to register meaningful movement), but good call, will check out ubersuggest.

Generally, yes "coaching" as a business is growing. It's also a seasonal trend where people are more interested in coaching around the beginning of a new year, then it fades out =)
I believe more people will consume information at scale but 1-1, with the advancement in technologies like streaming
That's interesting! And makes sense. More people are probably purchasing coaching plans at the beginning of the year too, now that you mention it!
I have to believe there is room for growth for 1-1 businesses (coaches/instructors/consultants/trainers) to optimize their value, without completely ditching the "coaching" model.
