I’m working on QuoteScope, a quoting tool that already connects with Google Sheets — but honestly, that integration never really got traction. I didn’t push it much, but it made me realise I should think more carefully before jumping into another one.
Now I’m looking at adding a Xero integration. It seems useful (send quotes → invoices → payments), but it’s a fair bit of work, and I’m wondering how other founders decide which integrations are worth it.
Do you go by:
Customer requests?
Strategic reach (e.g. “Xero users might discover us”)?
Or just what makes your own workflow easier?
Curious how others prioritise integrations or decide when to say no to one.
Love what you’re building with QuoteScope quoting tools are one of those things that quietly make or break workflows.
Just something to watch out for though if any of your new integrations (like Xero) ever go down or start failing silently, users won’t even realise until they lose deals or invoices start missing. That’s a nightmare to debug once you scale.
We faced that exact pain while running PageMon, so we built it to instantly alert you on Slack, Discord, or email the moment your APIs or integrations start failing. It’s super lightweight literally a one-line setup.
Could be handy if you’re expanding into new integrations and don’t want to babysit uptime manually.
Thanks Raj, appreciate the insights - I totally agree, PageMon looks really interesting I'll definitely check that out. The one liner set up is impressive :-)
I’d love to have you onboard if possible we can set up a quick call to discuss. You can also email me at rajtripathi2580@gmail.com. Thanks!
