Trying to figure out how to get your first 100/1000 customers?

This is the problem I see with all the companies who firstly believe in building products rather than;

  1. Engaging with a group of people of your interest
  2. Analyzing what’s going in there
  3. Identifying a problem
  4. Interacting with group members if they really find it a problem (big, managed, avoidable, frequency, fiscal impact if any)
  5. Asking them for money if the problem gets resolved

Got positive response, create an interest capturing page offering time-sensitive free access or discounted early access once the platform goes live.

Rest you can try adding your product to SaaS communities & directories in a sequence of getting immediate boost i.e. IndieHackers, ProductHunt, Betalist, SaaStraQ, Facebook Groups, Subreddits, GrowthHackers, Capterra, G2, TrustRadius, etc.

    how do/did you analyze what's going on in the group, and how do you catch the member's interest?
