    Today:

    • Did a lot more work improving the name generation for Naminator. Mostly behind the scenes work for today, preparing training data etc. Should be able to start seeing some output tomorrow, hopefully.

    Tomorrow:

    • Use the new training data to work on improving the name generation for Naminator.

    1. 3

      No refunds! Heck yeah!

    2. 2

Writing 16 blog posts + your course modules? That's a lot of writing. Are you full time or part time?

      1. 2

Full time hustler (If I don't clock 40 hours each week, it's pretty damn close) + full time FAANG gig! (Smiling) I don't sleep much!

But do be fair, my new VA is responsible for all of that 16. I just do approvals and publishing.

Checked out pickysort.com... fun idea! Do you plan to move this forward? Or is this strictly "side project" status?

      1. 1

Thanks! Side project for now. Thinking about "niche down" to make it more applicable to a better-defined set of use cases.

    WIPs

    1. 1

Do share what you write down! I'm curious how you plan to demo Announcr!

      1. 1

Sure! It looks something like this...

        • I roll up to a CVS or Walgreens in town.
        • I’m in the parking lot and when my GPS coords stabilize to show I’m AT a location, I get an app notification with an audio message and a coupon for something I haven’t bought in awhile, also tells me it’s quarterly Extrabucks time.
        • I walk through the doors and the BLE sensor on the Announcr device syncs up with the Announcr app. It triggers my announcement for this location.
        • “Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you Lord Dave Young. He’s a startup founder from Boston who enjoys swimming in the rain, and once ran screaming from a rattlesnake. Welcome, Dave!”
        • The Announcr device was near the front door, so there are people around who hear it and laugh.
        • A pre-written post comes up on the Announcr app, which lets me post the announcement to FB or Twitter. "I was just Announced at CVS in New Bedford, MA. Listen to it here: LINK"
        • I walk around shopping. Ambient sounds/music are playing on the Announcr device. In a few minutes, a general instore audio ad comes up promoting a local event, and the ambient music continues playing.
        • At the checkout, I complete my transaction and give an optional transaction code to the cashier, which ties the transaction to my Announcr account.
        • I exit and 5 minutes later I get a notification with a personal thanks
