Tuesday Edition: IH Daily Stand Up!

That extra nudge of accountability to achieve even a small step on your IH journey each day.

To join in:

01 Share your epic (a big chunk of work with a meaty objective) you'd like to complete by the end of June.

02 Share what you accomplished yesterday.

03 Share what you commit to accomplishing today.

04 Comment on at least one fellow hacker's progress and give them an IH Point for their check in.

Optional:

05 Share your Work In Progress to underscore your accomplishments.

    Epic: Launch Naminator, Bianna, Dating site by end of 2019. Have one of them gain traction.

    Today:

    Deployed new & improved name generation algorithm to naminator.io - would LOVE for everyone to give it a spin and give me any feedback on whether the results are any good.

    Tomorrow:

    Work on mockups for the pricing / upgrade screens + new premium results page.

      I tried using it and it just got stuck around 18% for a long time so I gave up 🤷🏽‍♀️. No idea what happened. I think my words were "social vault memory simple storage" or something like that if that helps.

        Hey, thanks! It looks like a large number of words crash it right now - i'm working on fixing that, but for now I've reduced the number of words you can enter - it should work now. Thank you so much for trying it, would love to hear what you think if you try it again!

      Dude, the names have improved significantly -- congrats! I had given it a try a week ago and the names were OK, but a lot of outputs that I wouldn't actually use as a business name.

      I ran that same word array query today and there were a lot of really high quality names that were great mish-mashes of existing words that:

      • Get the gist of the word(s) across
      • Straightforward to spell

    1. Edit/split marketing copy into sales sheet & landing page.
    2. Create a sales sheet for service offering.
    3. Buy domain
    4. Do follow-up discovery call.
    5. Do lead gen.
    6. Draft warm pitch messages.

    WIP
    A Service offering

    • Objective: deliver client value and get customer insight.
    • STATUS: Wrote too much copy for the sales sheet. Cut it down then split the rest for a landing page.

    First time doing this daily stand up. I don't really have an 'epic' because that's not how my planning works, but I'll share what I did yesterday and today.

    Yesterday: Finished 90% of SocialVault. Cut out some functionality to get it shipped faster.
    Today: Complete and deploy an MVP for SocialVault
