Love the business model that this enables. From the customer's end.
Wondering who are 2-3 of your dream customers?
Thanks Dru!
I agree that the convenience of purchasing software assets and easily being able to drop them into your integration/deployment pipelines and keep them up to date is something that isn't really focused on in the current space.
2-3 dream customers
This is awesome. I was only aware of Mike Perham from Sidekiq doing something like this.
These models are intriguing. Would love to do case studies on them at some point.
No problem!

@Brickster for the launch π
11 days til my scheduled release of https://trackmylift.app . It's creeping up very FAST lol
Workout tracking is a good thing to tackle! Is it going to be a web app or smartphone app?
It is a web app as a PWA. Lots of updates on my socials if you check the product social page over there ππ what you think?
It's looking slick! I don't currently lift, but could see myself using it when I do.
Just saw your sign-up there and it didn't click with me before I sent an email. πββοΈ
Thanks for the great feedback @DavidGetchel really appreciate it. How did you find the flow and process from sign up to being directed to app? And do you think the add to home screen prompt / popup was clear enough? Thanks again
It was straight forward. The only thing I noticed when signing up was it wasn't a natural "load" after I submitted my info. I didn't see an indication for a few seconds that anything happened until the popup. The home screen prompt was great though.
@DavidGetchel that's amazing feedback thank you.
Funnily enough, adding a loader icon to the create button is actually on my backlog items of bugs π€£ so this is good thank you so much!!
Awesome! Happy with that! Really appreciate it. Did you see the view workout screen aswell either by creating a workout or clicking into a saved one? I was in 2 minds whether to re design this screen haha
After messing around with it for a few more minutes, here are some thoughts. All three "headers" seem like they should be buttons. "Add workout" with the plus icon doesn't do anything, but I clicked it thinking I could add an exercise.
"My workouts" I thought I could pull up previous workouts. I see that there is a toggle that does that below.
I've got more, but they're small things.
Not yet. Editing is on my backlog list for tonight/tomorrow night ππ» Thanks for that!
That's a nice observation dude, I'll maybe consider re styling these then π I'm happy to take all your other feedback aswell!
The date format for those in the US. "Add exercises" in the view workout section doesn't seem to work. Is there some way to edit a workout to add/remove moves?

I literally just use decent hash tags and follow audience-specific people on social media and engage in posts. Seems to be working so far.
I'm using stripe for payments in my PWA.

Sometimes, yeah. I try to keep the posts straight to the point though to try and avoid that

AutomatedApi.com
π₯π₯π₯Congrats on the soft launch!π₯π₯π₯Any notes, thus far
Also, you mentioned you might know some folk interested in my online class... Any chance of sending 'em this way?
Thanks, no big notes yet. But I can say that just going live re-frames the work from an engineering perspective. Everything feels smaller, which is good because it clears mental overhead so I can focus more on the sales bits. For the foreseeable future, updates should be small and quick, so I can push them out pretty frequently to keep improving on the product.
As to knowing interested folks, I don't know them personally that was more a friend of a friend situation, but I can reach out and try to send some people your way.
Hey Jim,
Thanks a ton for the shout out! Nuget is definitely on the roadmap after mvn (currently in progress).
I really want to know more about what you're up to with AutomatedApi.com, so I've followed you on Twitter. I'd love to discuss it more. I've tinkered with a few ideas around the OpenAPI spec and sort of a "click and integrate" strategy from a generic perspective, curious about how that intersects with what you're up to!

@Janice for trying to hustle on vacation!
Thanks for the encouragement! Where are you at on the 50 subs?
Still 2 / 50 :(
It's been a tough month time-wise since I've been ramping up at school. I haven't achieved any of my infra goals, though the one article I pushed got pretty good traction.
On the bright side, I think I have an idea that I can move to MVP stage - so I'm excited about tackling that in Sep!
I think its awesome that you're doing an IPFS related project! I'm thinking of picking one up soon for an idea I'm toying with.
How are you liking it thus far?
IPFS is cool, but there are some real fundamental problems (i.e. get latency) that make it really tough to imagine use cases.
I'm more or less just going to keep experimenting to see if there are work arounds that could be implemented.
The idea I'm running right now is a CLI-based notes app. Lot's of interesting problems already that I'm working through :)
