I’m one of the creators of Pi9eon. It’s a small project we’ve been building that lets you send physical postcards from your camera roll directly from iMessage — no account, no address needed.

There’s a real gap in how we connect today; social media gives us instant gratification, but it will never replace the joy of something tangible. Pi9eon bridges that physical–digital divide in a way that actually feels meaningful. It is built for my generation, Gen Z, who live online but still crave real, personal connections. In addition, since a lot of us travel, study abroad, or move around constantly, we wanted a way to stay connected that feels more meaningful than texting. Postcards within the U.S. arrive in 7–10 days, even from abroad.
