I was looking for a way to have more than just a transcript for hundreds of different pieces of content that I needed to analyze.
Therefore, I created my own API in order to do so.

I think "structured data" is the more interesting direction than transcription itself. Once media becomes structured, people can search it, analyze it, automate workflows, and build on top of it instead of just reading a transcript.
