Hey everyone!
I wanted to share how I hustled to build three businesses simultaneously while making each one "tick".
My love for watches kickstarted my journey. Initially, I crafted rubber straps for Seiko watches and hustled on Instagram. Sold like hotcakes and made $25k profit in a year! But with growing competition and an itch for more design freedom, I shifted gears. Designed my first automatic watch, the Belhamel Contra A39, and ran a successful Kickstarter campaign, raising about $45k. Now, I'm designing and fine-tuning the sales funnel before the official launch.
Takeaway: Keep an open mind; unexpected turns might lead to your best opportunities.
A few years ago, I teamed up with a friend to launch Renderologists, a product CGI studio where we produce product visuals for luxury brands. It wasn't easy; offering photorealistic renders at competitive pricing required patience. Tailored outreach to prospects and highly targeted Google Ads paid off big time. Patience was our best friend.
Takeaway: Personal connections can unlock incredible opportunities; patience is key.
Finally, there's Archie Max. Just launched it last month. UI/UX design is my true passion, and I've had different design gigs the last 12 years or so. Finally set up my subscription service, snagged two clients at £1,799/month (I worked with them in the past), and keeping it manageable. Going organic for marketing, focusing on adding value to startup communities.
Takeaway: Passion-driven ideas often spring from new experiences that resonate with you.
Managing multiple ventures? It's like juggling flaming torches! Prioritizing Archie Max keeps my fire alive while maintaining quality across the board. Engaging customers drives my businesses. I listen, adapt, but also stick to my vision.
Takeaway: Quality beats quantity; focus on what you excel at. Challenges help you grow!
That’s the rollercoaster I’m riding so far. Loads of ups, downs, failures, and a ton of hustle. Remember, success is about embracing the journey and learning at every turn. Cheers!
