Turning real-world workouts into a strategy game with Fitopoly

I’ve been building Fitopoly, a mobile app that turns your workouts into a world-domination game.

Instead of tracking steps or calories, you capture territory on a map by completing activities like running, walking, cycling, or gym workouts.

Different activity types capture different terrain, and the more consistent you are, the bigger your territory becomes.

I built it because traditional fitness apps focus on numbers, while games focus on progress and exploration.

Goal: make staying active feel like playing a strategy game instead of doing a chore.

Would love feedback from other indie makers on:

  • gameplay mechanics
  • retention features
  • competitive elements
