Hey IH — I'm Griffon. I run a service called 20% Better and I wanted to share what I'm working on and where I'm at.
What it is
Most people who took a 23andMe or Ancestry test got their ancestry breakdown and never looked at the raw data file again. That file contains hundreds of thousands of genetic markers with real wellness implications — how you metabolize caffeine, whether you have supplement bottlenecks, what training style matches your muscle genetics, what risk factors deserve attention.
20% Better takes that raw file and generates a 25-page personalized report covering diet, supplements, a training plan, risk flags, a grocery shopping list tied to specific findings, and a daily schedule based on circadian and metabolic genes. Everything is cross-referenced against ClinVar and PharmGKB with citations. Wellness education, not medical advice.
Privacy model
This was a big design decision. DNA data is as sensitive as it gets, especially after the 23andMe bankruptcy shook everyone's trust. So the file is encrypted in transit and permanently deleted within 10 minutes of report generation. No accounts, no data storage, no subscription.
Business model
Simple. $29 one-time payment. No upsells yet. Founding member pricing for the first 100 reports. Processing is automated so margins are solid even at this price.
Where I'm at
Product is live and working end-to-end. Landing page is up. Stripe is connected. Reports are generating and delivering. I'm at the "now I need to get people to the page" and testimonials stage, which is why I'm here.
What I'm looking for
Honest feedback on anything — the landing page, the offer, the pricing, the positioning. If you have a raw DNA file and want to try it, I'd genuinely appreciate hearing what you think of the report itself. And if you've launched a health/wellness product before, I'd love to hear what channels worked for you. If you want a free report, use code feedback10. There will be a link to leave feedback in the same email you get your report in. Note: there are only 10 feedback codes. Cheers.
