Turning your side projects into a profitable micro startups

So I created a discussion group here at IH you can join if you are building your micro startups and your other or next micro-x's. The ultimate goal is to learn from other founders who are building their projects and turning it into profitable. I also look for articles and community about micro startups. I don't want to build a project that costs so much and save time. I like the idea of bootstrapped & independent on my projects. Building one small feature as a minimum viable product will be good to validate towards lean startup method. Some other things I've seen like MUP (Usable), MMP (Marketable), MLP (Loveable), MSP (Sellable) and even (SLC) simple, loveable & complete.

I found some ways to tweak things online and keep it organized & categorize while doing my side projects and also turning it into a profitable business. https://fajarsiddiq.com/microstartups place where I put my domain and things I have to complete it soon.

I like to keep it short sharp and simple. I have my other businesses to grow and also things I learnt. Also, I like to share things what I do and information that is useful to others and nothing beats consistency and growth. I saw this pattern for 2 years and is not something it should be. It should be redirecting me to "Marie-kondo" everything. As it gets overwhelmed, I want to micro-manage everything. I just name it "micro-x" or "micro everything". Things should be simple and effective. I wrote a short article to get a glimpse of it

You could start a micro-movement around this, you know I love the concept of create features as small/micro projects, I think it's the best way to easily validate ;)

    1. 2

yes micro movement is what it is, is a great culture + easiest way to validate for sure. I agree. Best things come in small packages

Just joined! I struggle with launching any of my products because I feel like they have to lead to a huge startup... Switching my mindset to Micro might help me be okay with launching more small things often.

    1. 1

yes, getting the right mindset of doing things better is what it is.
It helps me too. One at a time, you will get it done. You got this!

Great idea, Fajar. Recently, I've build a super simple nano-app for myself and friends with only one power feature -- interval reminding. Don't even thought about making it public before I read your post.
