Tutoring/mentoring idea: Developer to ML Engineer

At DataPastry we've helped developers learn how to do machine learning as part of a consulting project.

I'm thinking about trying to build something for developers who want to change their career and become machine learning engineers. The demand for ML engineers is growing, and in the UK they earn an average of around £70k, compared to around £55k for a developer.

What do you think? does this sound like a good idea? How could I go about validating it? Thanks!
