Tweet Hunter acquired for $2m + earn out

A massive result for an indie hacker team! Tweet Hunter (and their LinkedIn writing tool Taplio) has been acquired by lempire, the maker of lemlist.

The deal gives the founders $2m in cash with the ability to earn millions more in earn-outs if profitability and growth targets are met.

This comes after Tweet Hunter grew to $1m revenue in just 12 months!

I had a chat as soon as the news broke with co-founder Tom Jacquesson about the deal, marketing tips and his advice for indie founders:

Congrats to the Tweet Hunter team! $2M is solid validation for the Twitter growth space. The timing makes sense too - X engagement has become critical for founders but the platform keeps getting noisier.

I've been working on something similar called ShipPost (shippost.ai) after getting frustrated with how much time I was spending on Twitter. The key insight I had was that most tools focus on content creation, but real growth comes from strategic replies to the right people. Took me from 2 hours daily scrolling to maybe 5 minutes of actual engagement.

The Twitter tools market is definitely heating up. Success stories like this show there's real demand from founders who know they need to be active but don't have the bandwidth to do it manually.
