Hmm.. I feel that you can just write & tweets, no need to put "I'm doing a challenge"
It makes it feel like work and people would be skeptical reading your posts. At least for me, I would be less willing to react to this kind of tweets.
Just be natural, write, and be consistent.
I personally had lots of fun participating, it didn't feel like work. To each their own :)

From experience, threads are better than unique tweets because they can be saved
so would you recommend this activity?
Yes - But I would cut the challenge into ten threads of 10 tweets.
The reason is the traffic drops three days after the thread publication.
I like being organized in my reasoning. As such, I would take a specific field, and find ten key points to talk about. It would help people to find the information they're looking for.
