Twitter is a great place to be right now
I've been using twitter for many years but i never really used it for business or tracked analytics.
After i launched my product i got a taste of the twitter magic. You get great exposure and you don't even have to sell anything. Heck, you don't even need followers.
Natural engagement will bring some people to your profile. So, if you have a link in bio they might click it. And besides traffic, you get to connect with awesome people.
Surely not breaking news, but even 1-2 tweets per day will bring great traffic your way.

Wow, this looks really interesting. Can you share what you did to grow your profile? How did you get this many impressions?
I have a new account, and I'm not seeing results anywhere near this good. What's more, I sometimes look at the accounts that have dozens/hundreds of thousands of followers, and their tweets are getting like 0-3 retweets and 0-5 likes, so it seems like the engagement is terrible.
Also I've heard that only a small percentage of your followers will see your tweets. Is that true?
But it clearly works great for you. Any tips/advice for a person who's just getting started?
Definitely not an expert but i can share my observations so far.
Cleanup your feed. IMO it's just easier to keep only the content you can easily engage with. Also, you might want to tidy up your profile a bit , to help others understand what you're about.
To get impressions/engagement
While it's not official, twitter has communities. There's CryptoTwitter, BlackTwitter and countless more. For example, there's a community around indie product making and perhaps the most known user is Pieter
Find the most active people in those communities, follow them and try to engage when they post something. The earlier you post, the more likely other people will see your tweet.
To get followers
Creating useful content seems to be an effective way (duh). Personally, i don't post much (yet) so my follower count is kinda low.
Initially you might want to attract a few users from external sources (blog posts, IndieHackers, other??) and once you have users that want to hear what you have to say then you can start posting more on twitter.
The key is to be genuine and provide value. If you want followers, give them a reason to follow you.

I think those accounts are people who got followers using shady tactics or very old (and possibly shady) accounts. Or people who only retweet all day, follow 100 accounts and then unfollow them. This seemed to be popular a few years back.
Wow, that's a LOT of impressions and followers! Do you usually comment on tweets or mostly post on your feed, or a bit of both?
I first tried following accounts that I commented on or were in a similar niche than me, but this didn't go too well, especially since I have very few followers. Do you usually follow or just let the organic followers from your posts come in?
I mostly comment on things that i can provide some insight or just be funny, depends on the tweet. I rarely post but i'm looking to change that.
Basically i think it's a mix of both if you want to gain followers. Get impressions from being witty and writing smart comments under popular threads and if people see content they like in your profile they will probably follow you.
Don't try to trick people, it's really about providing value.
