Twitter launches Birdwatch: a community-based approach to misinformation

Overall nice attempt to avoid misleading information trusting on the community.

Some question remains: how to avoid bias? How about people trying to flag real information as misleading?

As we develop algorithms that power Birdwatch — such as reputation and consensus systems — we aim to publish that code publicly in the Birdwatch Guide. The initial ranking system for Birdwatch is already available here.

⚠️ If people manage to go up in the ranking, their notes will be on the top, highlighted as “currently rated helpful.”
