Twitter or LinkedIn? First integration for my micro-SaaS

Hello everyone!
I hope you are having a successful week so far ๐Ÿ˜‰

I am building a small tool that automates the engagement with your followers and other influencers followers (to grow your audience from theirs).

Basically, the tool would help growing influencers (e.g. up to 1'000 followers) to get their growth to the next level by semi-automating some of that engagement work (writing comments for bigger influencers, etc.).

Now I am hesitating between building it for Twitter or LinkedIn for the first version. Both APIs seem to have quite similar functionalities (Twitter having more permissive rate limitings, but that shouldn't be an issue for LinkedIn).

Your experience building micro-SaaS would be very much appreciated to guide me through this tough decision!

What would you recommend (Twitter vs. LinkedIn) given the target audience and the benefits mentioned above?

The obvious answer is to ask around but it's difficult to get to a significant enough number of opinions or people that are trying to grow on both platforms ๐Ÿ˜•

Thank you so much and happy coding!

My gut response is Twitter, but I've seen many people recently say that LinkedIn is an underutilized resource, so that might be a wave to ride.

Maybe you can find one or two potential customers and build for whichever platform they're most focused on.

Thank you very insightful, that's a good point that LinkedIn is maybe an underutilized platform by "social networks SaaS" in general.
