UI/UX Designers available for a sidegig?

Hi IH!

I'm a product manager for a desktop software application that desperately needs some UI/UX work. We don't have a full-time UI/UX designer and i'm reaching out to my favorite community before jumping on places like freelancer.com and Fiverr to see if anyone was interested in helping redesign some aspects of our current software.

I've been given roughly $1000 (not much) to make a case to hire a UI/UX contractor for my product, as well as our other products.

I know i'm asking a lot for a little but if anyone is interested in doing a side gig, please reach out to me.

I'm trying to get this done as quickly as possible and this would be a good opportunity for someone to secure a new client for on-going future projects.

I appreciate any help pointers in finding someone, if you're not able to help.
