As an engineer, to understand and leverage a tool, my experience has been to not go for fully detailed tutorials or explanations of concepts. The best way to start is with simple use cases or bite-sized, high-level understanding how something works.
The brain will start feeling in the gaps by asking questions of "how about if I wanted to do this?" leading to the next concept.
I believe AI's Large Language Models will be powering lots of future applications and I have been working with them. I will share soon what I am building. But here is where I started... understanding their main moving parts and how I can leverage them
In the link below, I share a very simplified, high level understanding of the main terms, what they mean and how as indie-hackers, although we might not have the resources to train our own LLM models, we can leverage them through embeddings and create amazing tools with them.
You can read it below. If you are not already tinkering with them, it will help you to quickly grasp at high level some of the main concepts and where we come in as developers to take advantage of them. It's not a technical writing but that's what got me started; it might you too.
