I am fairly new to the platform but I am willing to make an effort to contribute to the bedroom entrepreneurs community.
This post is more some sort of a question with a struggle of mine than an announcement, blog post or informative value.
Every-time , and I mean every-freaking-time, I find myself at an intersection whilst pursuing business ideas. I (or with co-founders) start developing the MVP of a new product and everything goes as planned. Motivated and almost ready to launch the MVP when suddenly - BANG - a new business idea.
It's new, it's fresh, it's exciting, It will definitely generate green papers. I want to pursue this new idea. But I am already developing a product. Or a friend, or business partner comes with a great Idea.
How do you cope / commit to your current path and not deviate from it?
I am convinced that you should channel your focus and not work on two or more projects at a time. But it is SO appealing!
If you have a new idea to work on, you can find for co-founder and work parallel on both projects, but it depends on many scenarios like volume of project and time and skills

What's your process for choosing ideas to execute on?
Do you ever set deadlines for exploring ideas?
A potential flow would look like:
You ideate -->
You select the 'best' project to work on based on your criteria -->
You set a deadline for building/validating that best idea -->
You focus entirely on that project until the deadline expires -->
You evaluate your progress -->
If you're unhappy with the project, or it's no longer interesting to you, or you feel it can't be successful, you set it aside -->
You ideate ...
