UniMusic AI: Making Music Creation Accessible

I built UniMusic AI to solve a problem I kept seeing: people have musical ideas but lack the skills or tools to bring them to life.

The core concept is simple—describe what you want in text, and AI generates a complete song with vocals, arrangement, and commercial rights in under a minute.

Key challenges I faced:

  • Integrating multiple AI models while keeping generation fast

  • Building a clean UI that doesn't overwhelm non-musicians

  • Handling licensing and copyright clearly so users actually own their music

What surprised me:

Users are creating music for purposes I never expected—podcast intros, small business jingles, personalized gifts. It validated that removing technical barriers opens up creativity.

Would love feedback on:

  • What features would make this more useful for your projects?

  • Any concerns about AI-generated music you'd want addressed?

Happy to discuss the tech stack, business model, or any indie hacker questions.
