Entrepreneurs seeking peak performance must manage their energy the same way professional athletes do. They must build rest and recovery into their work schedules and identify the conditions that lead to peak performance. Like athletes, entrepreneurs must train to maximize the quantity, quality, focus, and force of their energy.
According to Dr. Jim Loehr, we have four types of energy that feed off each other:
- Physical
- Emotional
- Mental
- Spiritual
To work and live a fulfilling life, it is crucial to optimize all four energy levels, particularly focusing on physical and emotional energy. Unfortunately, we often neglect these vital aspects. In today's fast-paced world, restoring our energy levels becomes essential. Personally, I have experienced moments of complete exhaustion, and no amount of coffee seems to help me concentrate, especially after 4 pm. Even during evening gatherings with friends and family, work dominates my thoughts. Hence, I began contemplating ways to recharge and rediscover happiness.
I will not describe all the thoughts, but here is what I found and decided to share anyway
π₯ **RULES:**π₯
- Schedule analytical tasks before 12 noon
- The best time is often when we are not the most attentive, which is the time for most people in the late afternoon.
- No big decisions after dinner
- Do one hour a day with what you love
- Make a list of the minimum tasks that need to be done for today in order to make progress and leave work satisfied
- Work for 1 hour with a booth with 30-minute blocks
These rules can definitely be supplemented with your own rituals and techniques, but the essence remains the same.
I will be grateful if you supplement my observations and knowledge with your techniques.πͺ

Great insights on energy management! I've been experimenting with a similar approach called the '15-Minute Morning Protocol' to kickstart my day:
It's been a game changer for my focus. (Note: I can't post links yet, but you can search for 'Protocol Zero Manual' to find the full guide).
I'm a night owl myself and can only focus during night time. I don't know why but mornings make me less productive. Additionally I use the Pomodoro technique which helps me really balance out the work-rest dynamic in shorter periods of time.
