An Australian start-up has solved the problem of sending large files and folders online, allowing its customers to perform unlimited-size data transfers without prior compression. With over 18K terabytes successfully sent, FileWhopper is about to acquire its first 100K users.
I used their first time free offer, sent a 3GB file and it went smooth. I also checked out their prices and they seem quite reasonable. So next I'll be trying to send about 150GB of video footage. Just want to see the speed. By the way, there really is no size limit. I tested that by uploading a humongous disk image, got a quote and could have started transferring it right then.
I used Filewhopper to send a 210GB folder to a friend overseas. The speed was quite good, it took about 5 or 6 hours to upload and a bit longer for my friend to download. The price wasn't bad at all, so I am happy with this service.
