Unpopular opinion: "more leads" is the wrong goal for most early-stage B2B founders.

Everyone chases lead volume. I think that's backwards.

Volume feels productive. It's usually just noise with extra steps — bigger list, same reply rate, more time wasted qualifying garbage.

Anyone else feel like the "spray more, pray more" advice is outdated? Or am I wrong and volume still wins at a certain stage?
