Update: I posted about struggling to find users with no audience. Here's what happened next.

Last week I shared that building my product was the easy part — finding people to use it has been the real challenge. I've been heads down on outreach since then, so I wanted to share what's actually happened.

Quick context: I built NVSN.ai, as a AI layer on top of ad platforms (starting with Meta) that helps you understand what your ads are doing and what to do next. I'm a non-technical solo founder who drives Uber full time and builds this on the side.

What I've done since that post:

- Started commenting in r/facebookads and other ad-related subreddits instead of trying to post (my account was too new). Just helping people with their questions, not pitching.

- Posted in beta testing communities on Reddit and Discord asking for honest feedback, not signups.

- Got my product listed here on IndieHackers and started engaging.

- Submitted my Meta app for Live Mode so anyone can connect without me manually adding them as a tester.

- Built a platform tour so new users actually know what they're looking at when they land in the app.

- Started posting on Twitter documenting the build.

What I've learned so far:

- Nobody cares about your product until you've earned their attention. Commenting and helping first, then mentioning what you built, works way better than cold posting.

- Beta testing communities are underrated. People there are literally looking for things to try.

- Being honest about where you are (early, unpolished, looking for feedback) gets more respect than pretending you're further along than you are.

I still have zero paying customers and I'm still figuring this out day by day. But it feels like the right things are starting to happen.
