Hey Indies,
About a month ago I posted my story of losing $10k developing a no-code app. It's a story about an awful experience with a well-known no-code agency.
(You can read it here: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/how-i-lost-10k-developing-a-no-code-app-d1959b56ae )
As the post got quite a few reads and upvotes, I am posting a short update to the open-ended question that was at the end of the previous post:
Did I get back my $2k of an unused budget with the agency?
After three weeks of asking where the money is, it finally ARRIVED. Not sure it's a win, but better to lose $8k than $10k.
I actually didn't believe I will get it anymore, because it was being "processed by the accounting department" for weeks and weeks. It's not like it's a 1000 person accounting department. It's likely one or two persons, considering the whole team is 30 people. So it kind of sounded like a bs.
But I am happy it did.
If you're interested in following my journey of building the app & launching, you can find the link to the app within the old link.
Cheers
