Upskilling courses for employees?

Do startups or companies look for courses for employees to take so they can upskill? Is there a demand here (in your own startups or based on your experience)?

For example, I've seen universities partner with LinkedIn learning... but that's more of a self-serve MOOC rather than a cohort-based course for a specific team.
