Use any software without tech knowledge required.
What if I told you that there is a platform where you can go and search huge list of software and look for the one you want or always wanted and install with just few clicks and use it.
For Example, you've an accounting firm and you no longer want to use monthly paid per user or third party services anymore. You can just search for list of accounting softwares. Choose the one with most rating and relevant features and just install and start using it.
Another example, If you are content based business. May be like podcast then instead of hosting it somewhere and pay fees for particular services, you can just search for podcasting softwares, install it and start using it and only pay for what you use. With full right over your content plus the entire platform because it's yours.
Would you use something like this?

What springs to mind for me is this. I use CMS systems for security and ease of use.
I know THEY are liable for any problems.
I have an uncle who is an accountant. I know for a fact he uses software which is safe, secure and reliable.
If you think your platform can deliver these things then why not. However, it sounds like your platform will be competing against some huge players in many industries!

I think I understand what you mean.
This platform just removes the barrier of technical knowledge. It will introduce non-developers to open source softwares world. Softwares will still be maintained by the community. So, all this platform is going to do, Is make it easiest for non-developers to get exposed to open source world without knowing anything technical.
Software's will still be maintained by community and platform will always try to stay upto date with it.
Example like wordpress, on platform you search for cms or blog. It shows you wordpress. You click on it, install it and use it. Wordpress is still maintained by community and updates are available for you every time there is one. Only what's different here, is that you didn't needed a developer or person with tech knowledge to help you do it.
Some companies just provides open source software as a service and charge high amount for it. What if you or someone like your uncle had the opportunity to use same software or something similar just by yourself. Providing you same functionality and security. A community always working on it to make it better and all this is available to you at much cheaper price and with more flexibility. would you use it ?
