Not sure if this is relevant, but I published an article on Dev.to (the site that is powered by Forem) back in April. The article did not get crawled on Google. I then built several links to that article from other articles I published. All those articles got indexed, but this dev.to link continues to not be indexed.

There is no 'noindex' in the script either. I am not sure if there is something in the dev.to architecture that is making it difficult for Google to crawl its pages.

  I'd raise that to the forem team. That said I love the look and feel of dev.to. Was thinking of discourse for a forum I am building but this suits me just fine.
