User audit trail

If you’re a software developer, you’ve probably been asked to build a way to view what actions customers are performing on your site. I know I have. Four times.

They are quite tedious to build and end up being repeats of each other.

Solution:
An API that handles customer defined events and allows access to the data via CSV, a graphical reporting dashboard or an API.

Market
As I say, I’ve built solutions for this in the past. And I’ve seen saas products solve this pain point, but nothing great currently exists. I’ve asked some of those businesses and they said they didn’t have time to drive the sales 🤷‍♂️

Question:
Is this a problem worth solving? It would certainly solve my problems but not sure about others.
