User friendly alternatives for community for women + minority business owners

Hello all!

I just recently soft launched with a Beta group of 10 testers a community specifically for women + minority business owners under the refinecltv brand (check us out here: https://www.refinecltv.com/join-collective).

We're learning that most users don't have Slack on their mobile / desktop and can't imagine taking on change management when the community is out of Beta. We have a community portal on Squarespace for quick access to small biz resources & an events calendar, but we need a space for users to chat and be in community that is widely known.

Facebook seems like our best bet for pivot, but would love any feedback on this!

Are you planning on supporting or monetizing the community? Is this an interim solution or long term?

You could try Mighty Networks for free to start.

I plan on monetizing (monthly subscription fee)... We have a resources hub with resources via Memberspace on our website and are looking for a tool specifically for chatting

We've build a lot of community apps using Glide

I'm a bit anti FB for ethical reasons and I just think less and less people are using it every day.

Have you seen Circle.so? They have good traction at the moment, I'd go with them over Mighty Networks.

Out of curiosity, why do you consider Circle better than Mighty Networks?

Will check them out, thanks so much!
