User Objection: "This is very basic"

Just demonstrated my MVP (a community platform) to someone who's building a SaaS founders community on Telegram.

I'm someone with over 15 years of experience in community building; and we talked about why building community on Telegram may not be the best idea.

They wanted to explore my platform; and after showing it to them, the first reaction was:

"This is very basic".

I told them it is for a reason: Features will be added based on what the community needs. The MVP has almost everything that a new community needs.

Looks like I need to be better prepared to handle objects. How'd you handle this objection?
