Users have clicked through from DiscountHub to partner stores 537 times in 20 days

Twenty days ago, I updated the DiscountHub backend and started tracking outbound clicks more accurately.

Today I checked the production database and found that users have clicked through from DiscountHub to external stores and partner offers 537 times.

The breakdown:

  • 339 clicks on product discounts and deal listings

  • 151 clicks on promo codes

  • 47 clicks on special partner offers

These are not confirmed purchases, but they are still meaningful to me.

It shows that people are not only visiting DiscountHub. They are finding an offer interesting enough to open the original store and continue shopping.

DiscountHub is still an early-stage project, built without a large marketing budget, so 537 real outbound actions in 20 days feels like a good sign that the core idea is working.

537 outbound clicks in 20 days is a solid signal. Tracking these small actions early helps you see if the product is actually useful.

537 outbound clicks on no budget is a real signal, the click is the moment of intent so it's the right thing to track early. Two things I'd layer on next. Your partner offers (47) probably convert very differently from promo codes (151), so the click-to-purchase split matters more than the total. And the bigger one: with no marketing budget, where are these 537 people actually coming from? If it's one repeatable channel, that's the real story worth doubling down on. What's driving the traffic right now?

537 outbound clicks in just 20 days is a solid early signal, especially for a project without a large marketing budget. The breakdown is interesting too, with product discounts driving the majority of clicks. Tracking outbound actions like this seems much more useful than relying only on page views because it shows actual user intent. Hopefully the trend continues as the site grows.

537 outbound clicks in 20 days without a big marketing budget is a solid early validation. I like that you’re measuring actual user actions instead of vanity metrics. Keep building! 🚀
